SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV) CELLS (OPTIONAL EXTRA) 

Electricity accounts for about 50% of the energy used in Australian households, but creates around 85% of the greenhouse gas emissions because most electricity is generated by burning fossil fuel. By adding over a 1.5 kilowatt photovoltaic system to the home, you can create an energy positive home. Solar photovoltaic cells could be fitted to the roof for the generation of solar power and in addition to pump electricity back to the grid. If this feature was added the home would be rated 10 stars and the home would in addition receive a source of revenue for the electricity created. Solar power has zero greenhouse emissions and will play a large part in making the home a zero emission home. Sufficient sunlight falls on Australia to provide the nation’s total energy needs. With the PV cells the home can capture some of this abundant energy.

ELECTRICITY KEY TAG (INCLUDED)

Standby power accounts for approximately 10% of of a standard power bill. The electricity key tag prevents wasted electricity when it is not required. Upon wiring of the house, selected areas of the home are wired separately so that the unnecessary standby power outlets are shut down when leaving the home. All necessary chosen power outlets i.e. fridge remain running as needed.

ENERGY METER (OPTIONAL EXTRA)

The energy meter in the home is a cutting edge energy saving device. The energy meter shows you how much electricity each appliance uses when you switch it on or off. It’s easy to read display works in all light conditions and shows your homes electricity usage in watts, dollars or by a colour changing light. The energy monitor will also monitor the amount of power you’re generating from renewable power e.g. solar panels. The meter stores up to 38 days of electricity usage in its internal memory, giving you access to daily, weekly and monthly views of your homes energy use and you can even use it in an online community to swap energy-saving hints and tips.

Whole House Fans

All Breeze Power Whole House Fans come fully assembled ready to install. There are five system sizes 600mm, 760mm, 915mm, 1070mm and 1220mm. 

The 600mm Fan is four bladed - all others have six widely angled, static balanced blades designed to create swirls of air which flow over all the surfaces in a room - the ceiling, wall floor and furnishings - to reduce radiant heat and carry away hot, stale air.

Indoor air rushes into the roof space at high speed where it cools every surface and pushes roof space air outside so fast it cannot build to furnace like temperatures.

A wind operated or motorized shutter trims the ceiling immediately below the in roof Fan.
